What would you like to understand? Try a question above, or ask your own. You can follow up with “Why?” or “Explain that more simply.”
Curiosity welcome. No physics degree required.
Ask IO
Ask about physics or the Interior Observer framework. Get a plain-language answer, the important conditions, and links to the papers.
How this was built
David Fife built Ask IO with AI assistance: a lightweight website, a private Python service, OpenAI models, and read-only research retrieval through MCP (Model Context Protocol).
Questions are interpreted by meaning, not matched to canned scientific answers. Research answers are checked against their sources and scope; higher-risk answers receive independent review. Papers link to Zenodo. Routine tasks use lower-cost models, with cache and usage controls.
Follow-up context stays in this tab and is sent with your next question; this interface does not save your conversation. API keys stay on the server. Avoid sharing sensitive information.
